Pet Oxygen Masks for Ottawa Fire Services

Pet Oxygen Masks for Ottawa Fire Services

Andrea Cormack-Akeson of Dirty Dog Gourmet Bakery has initiated a campaign to raise funds and purchase a set of pet oxygen masks for each of the Ottawa Fire Services stations. She has personally purchased the first two sets and donated them to Ottawa Fire Services.

Each oxygen mask set includes a mask for cats, a mask for small dogs and a mask for large dogs.  A video of a rescue can be viewed at Help Animals Inc. at .

Responsible Dog Owners of Canada commends Ms. Cormack-Akeson in this endeavour to ensure that fire fighters have the proper equipment to save Ottawa pets that have suffered from smoke inhalation, etc. and has agreed to accept donations on her behalf.

Donations can be made through PayPal at  or by cheque made payable to RDOC and sent c/o 160 Oakridge Blvd., Ottawa, ON K2G 2V2.

Please include a notation that the donation is for Ottawa Pet Oxygen Masks.
