Memory  Paw  Pin

If you or someone you know is grieving the loss of a beloved pet, Responsible Dog Owners of Canada has a Memorial Paw Pin available for a donation of $10.

This lapel pin is beautifully designed and makes an inspirational remembrance keepsake.
The pin has “Forever in my heart” engraved on the back and comes mounted on a black velvet pad with an enclosed poignant condolence message.

Memory  Tree  Program

If you or someone you know has lost a canine companion and would like to acknowledge the loss, a tree may be purchased through RDOC's Memory Tree Program and planted in selected areas at either Bruce Pit or Conroy Pit.

Ferguson Forest Center suggests the following trees for planting at Bruce or Conroy Pits ::

Red or White Pine Red, Bur or White Oak White Spruce Native Red Maple or Silver Maple Birch

The trees are approximately 2-3 feet and may be ordered for a Spring or Fall planting.  The cost is $30, which includes taxes and delivery.

Those purchasing a tree will be notified of the date set for planting.  Purchasers are responsible for planting and aftercare of the trees.
